Dear Friends

Thanks for visiting my fundraising site. I have decided this year to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Oct 2009 to raise money for the Cure Parkinson's Trust.

As some of you will know already, my Father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease over 5 years ago and this gives me my motivation to do all I can. It is therefore my aim to raise money for the charity whose purpose is to fund research to hasten a cure for Parkinson's, by identifying, funding and evaluating research projects. So please dig deep and sponsor me online.

For those who don’t know, Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition affecting movements such as walking, talking, and writing. Despite the progression of modern drugs which help slow the development of the disease, there is still no cure.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Cure Parkinson's Trust's will receive your money faster and, if you are a U.K. taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

As the deposit and costs of the climb have been paid for by me, you can be rest assured that all the money raised will go directly to the charity - So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
Phil
