Martin House provides care and support, free of charge, to families in which there is a child or children with a short life expectancy. Its aim is to provide a home from home with a lively friendly atmosphere where children and their families can enjoy the best quality of life.

My story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! During the summer Vicki will swim 21 miles (not all at once!) and Sean will run 21 miles to raise money for Martin House. It is the 21st Birthday of the hospice this year. Please help us in a small way to enable them to continue the amazing work they do for children and young people with life-long and life-limiting illnesses, and their families. Your support and donation is much appreciated. Thank you! Update (5th September 2008): Sean completed his run in one go on Saturday 2nd August in under four hours. Vicki completed her swim done over 14 swims in 4 weeks averaging approx 6 miles per week. They are now both visiting the physio! We are both proud to have completed this challenge for such a worthwhile and important cause. Please give if you haven't already done so.
