Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Sofia, Oliver, William and Annabelle have taken on the challenge of running a 20 km relay together to raise money in memory of their sister and cousin, Emilia Louise Downie, who was born sleeping at 40w4d on July 4th 2016 weighing 7lb15oz.
Our motivation for taking on this challenge is to raise money for an extremely worthwhile cause whilst remembering Emilia. The children all talk about Emilia, and it is a nice way for them to keep her memory alive. Tommy’s is an amazing charity which carries out research into stillbirth, miscarriage and neonatal death. Tommy’s also runs a ‘Rainbow Clinic’ which gives medical and emotional support to women through pregnancy following loss. We are blessed to have welcomed Florence to our lives in 2017, so we know how vital this type of support is.
Thank you for reading and taking the time to hear about our third baby, Emilia Louise, always in our hearts. Any donation would be very gratefully received.
