Thank you for all of your very kind donations, we have successfully raised more than our target amount of £3,000! We have raised £4,500 on-line, through this justgiving page, through other runners' justgiving pages as well as off-line for The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust, http://www.qest.org.uk/, the charitable branch of The RWHA.

Fifty runners in our Royal Warrant Holders Association team entered The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon, http://www.royalparkshalf.com/.

The fifty runners either represented an area of The RWHA, The Royal Household or QEST. These included forty runners from forteen different Royal warrant holding companies : David McDonald, Apex Lift & Escalator Engineers Ltd; Penny Bendall, Bendall Ceramic Conservation; Samantha Middlewood, British Sugar Plc; Gemma Banks, Ben Curtis, Flora Hancox, Ian Horton, Hudson, John Keep, Jonathan McNuff, Antony Neale, Michael Peters, Stephen Rennie, Carl Richardson, David Rowntree, Oliver Smith, Tom Stephens and Katie Warriner, Calor Gas; Guy Cliffe, Champagne Louis Roederer; Stephen Connelly, Cleave & Company Ltd; Karolis Treciokas, DAKS Ltd; Samuel Horrell, Dodson & Horrell Ltd; Jason Derham, Peter Griffiths, Fairhust Ward Abbotts Ltd; Stephan Harris, Frimstone Ltd; Enguerrand Baijot, Paul Beavis, Lisa Bennett, Brigitte Hennessy and Sandrine Perry, Champagne Lanson Père et Fils; Joanna Bishop, Max Caunhye, David Hedges, Paul Moore, Stuart Newble, Charlie Potton and Adam Staniforth, Manhattan Furniture; Jonathan Davies, Polybags Ltd and Stan Tedford, Rokill Ltd. We also had four participants from Schroders, Jette Anderson, Adam Cavalier, i Neville and Kate Rogers; three members of The Royal Household, Barry Mitford, Jeferson Mariano da Costa and Victoria Emsley; one member of The RWHA, a QEST Trustee, Fiona Rae and finally a QEST Scholar, Rebecca Harvey.

QEST makes awards ranging up to £15,000 to craftsmen and women of all ages to help them further their careers. Since 1991 the Trust has awarded over £1,34 million to 208 craftspeople aged between 17 and 50 plus for study, training and work experience. QEST was established in 1990 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of The RWHA and the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for all your sponsorship for this worthwhile charity!

Kind regards,

Richard Watling, QEST Chairman
