Raising money for Parents and Children Together

Parents and Children Together has been building and strengthening families since 1911. Every day PACT works with children and their parents or carers on a one-to-one basis or at drop-in group sessions at projects across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. PACT is also an approved adoption and fostering agency and finds "forever families" for some of the 5,000 children each year who need a permanent placement. PACT's education arm provides nationally recognised courses for those working in social care settings "from crèche to care home.

I will be running the Reading Half Marathon on the 29th March and would like to raise as much money as much money as I can for PACT.

Having started life as an adoption agency, Parents And Children Together has, over time, added two further strands to its work in order all the better to build and strengthen families as its mission statement runs. The charity works hard and within all kinds of innovative partnerships to support families in the community so that they can better withstand the pressures of life today. They provide the support that is needed for many families within the local area.

Any pounds or pennies you can spare would be greatly appreciated and will help me get closer to my target of £500. PACT rely heavily on donations so this amount of money would make a big difference.
