Phew, another tick in the box (^_^) On behalf of all the lads and The Tyneside Leukaemia Research Association, I would like to give a big thank you to all our sponsors for the donations we received for this.
I'd also like to thank Zoe for doing a stellar job as our support car. We are really grateful for it. Thanks go out to Cragg Farm for our tea and biscuit pit stop and The Jolly Farmers bed and breakfast for their great hospitality and excellent breakfast.
Also, thanks to Simon G for organising the event and everyone else who helped out and wished us good luck.

This registered charity predominantly provides research funds for work being carried out via Newcastle University Medical School for clinical and laboratory research. The work funded is now nationally and internationally recognised as being of a very high standard. The Newcastle team has emerged as one of the most progressive and effective groups within the United Kingdom. Tremendous progress has been achieved, particularly in children’s leukaemia but much more effort is required for the more stubborn illnesses in young adults and older people.
