Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Before the 2013/4 Ashes series, we were all very confident. At Penkridge Cricket Club, I even taunted my good Australian friend, Gary Pope, that if Australia reclaimed the Ashes, I would walk to the first away league game which the Penkridge 1st team would play. This could have been anything from 6 to 65 miles but surely there was no way the Aussies were going to win. Wrong!
And the Birmingham and District Premier Cricket League fixtures were announced and Penkridge were given an opening away fixture at Coventry & NW. 38.6 miles, so it could have been worse!
However, this gave me an excellent oppotunity to raise some money for a charity. Keeping with a cricketing connection, I decided on the Motor Neurone Disease Association, in connection with The Broad Appeal. Please donate generously, I am most appreciative of your support.
