Waitrose Charity Bike Ride · 11 March 2013

GYC works with Young Carers and their families. It aims to raise awareness and to develop support networks for children and young people who have a caring responsibility. The person cared for may have a physical or learning disability, long term illness or a problem with mental health, drugs or alcohol.

Story

WE FINISHED!! We probably picked the coldest day of the day of the year to ride but it was all worth it! Thank you everyone who has donated so far! Please keep it coming! More photos to follow...

Fundraising in the lobby of Waitrose Cheltenham today! Come and see us!

We are a group of Partners from Waitrose Cheltenham raising money for our Branch Charity of the Year, Gloucestershire Young Carers.

We will be cycling from Cheltenham to Cirencester to Stroud then back to Cheltenham in a day - a journey of 50+ miles! The ride takes place on Mon 11th March, hopefully in good weather!

We will also be fundraising in the lobby of Waitrose Cheltenham on Sat 2nd March by cycling on an exercise bike for the day!

As part of Waitrose's Corporate Social Responsibility, which involves how we manage our environmental impact and how we work with the local community and suppliers, we feel this is a very worthy cause and an apt way of raising money for our chosen charity.

We hope you feel the same and can donate some money to us today!

Thanks,

The Team
