I am delighted to announce the forthcoming “Walking through the Downturn Tour”. Once again, we shall yomp over the Wicklow mountains for three days in sunshine, rain or snow and across bog, scree, and heath.

As on previous tours, we are fundraising for SOS Children. We are walking to support two children’s villages in . We will continue sponsoring both villages in the coming years.

If downturns affect us personally, they affect fundraising activities much more severely. So in the spirit of contrarian action, we are going to raise no less than £5000. So if you like bucking the trend, taking a different view, and leaving pessimism behind, then dig deep.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy, and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: SOS Children's Villages gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation
