Cardiff Half Marathon 2007 · 14 October 2007 ·

Sight Life, formerly known as Cardiff Institute for the Blind Established in 1865 offers a wide range of local services to support blind and partially sighted people across much of South Wales. Our mission is to help people live independent, active, social, and fulfilling lives.

Story

Well we did it and what a fantastic event to take part in. Unofficial times I completed in 2hrs 12 and as for Pete for a man who's only training plan was to stop smoking 5 weeks ago did an amazing time of 2hrs 30 - there's life in the old dog yet!

Thank you for everyone who sponsored us, your donations will be greatly appreciated by the CIB.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

We are running the Cardiff Half Marathon in October 2007 in support of Cardiff Institute for the Blind.  The CIB is an independant local voluntary organisation devoted to the welfare of Visually Impaired people within the counties of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamoran. It needs the support of local people, both financially and as volunteers to continue to develop it's work. We have pledged our time to this excellent cause and ask you to please show your support in the form of YOUR MONEY. So please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Cardiff Institute For The Blind, Incorporated will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
