My story
Throughout 2008 Stuart Ward
has been running marathons to raise awareness of the children's charity SOS Children's Villages.
Stuart ran the London Marathon on behalf of SOS Children for the 3rd year in succession. Last year he ran for the children his sister Gail met in Belarus and to raise awareness of the 21st anniversary of Chernobyl. This year he is inspired by Gail's visit to Rwanda which people will have seen featured in Ewan McGregors 'trip'.
Here's a list of the planned Marthons - look out for the SOS Chidren gold vest and give Stuart a BIG cheer..... and please donate as generously as you can. The NEXT marathon to be run is the last one this year HASTINGS on Sunday 14th December - so please support Stuart......

SOS Children's villages help orphaned and abandoned children throughout the world - in many countries that you may visit on holiday! At the moment SOS Children's Villages are helping look after child refugees who are very scared and traumatised. They have lost their homes and have experienced violent riots, or floods, or war. Their parents are either missing or have been killed and in many cases it is not clear whether or not the children have any relatives that could take care of them.
A very big THANK YOU for your encouragement and PLEASE support us. If you'd like to get in touch with us please do so through www.gailwardphotography.co.uk or call 01243 370489
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: SOS Children's Villages will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support.
