On Sunday 13th September 2009 I am going to do a super sprint triathlon on behalf of HSBC at Dorney Lake, Windsor.
Come along to cheer, clap, point, laugh...and carry me across the finish line!
The race consists of 400m swim, 10k bike & then a 2.5k run.
Just to give you an idea how mammoth this task is going to be for me, I can't really swim!! However, I'm having lessons! I currently don’t own a bike and haven't ridden one since my cycling proficiency at primary school. Running...well I can walk like a maniac but I have serious issues breaking into a run!

This is to raise money for the HSBC Build A School 2009 Project and this year they are focusing on Snehasadan “School and Accommodation Centre” Project. Snehasadan is a home for underprivileged children who are either orphaned or come from single parent homes. The children are from the marginalized society where even the basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter are not available.The objective of the project is to break the cycle of poverty and transform the lives of these children by providing sustainable self development, education and skill based training to ensure the children are better equipped to face the world.
This project will be solely funded through contributions and funds raised by UK employees taking part in the HSBC Triathlon and Fun Run in September.
Our fundraising target this year is £200,000 which if raised will allow us to rebuild the centre as well as fund a UK sister project. My target is £200 but I'd like to raise as much as possible...So please sponsor me now!
