The Water Crisis in Palestine remains unheard of to many of us.

 

The natural scarcity of water resources in the Jordan river is complicated by the permanent political crisis in Palestine.

Also, as a result of the seize in Gaza, military operations have completely smashed the water infrastructure, causing water pipes to become contaminated, yet another risk to the health and lives of our Palestinians.

 

We may not be able to ease the harsh pain they have suffered for so long and continue to suffer but the very least we can do is give them the RESPECT they deserve and live in a state fit for humanity.

 

Water is a gift from God to all of Mankind.

 

Allah says: "Tell them that the water is to be shared by all of them..." (Al-Qamar 54:28)

 

An alarming 90% of water supplied to Gazans, of whom over 70% are registered refugees, does not meet drinking water standards.
