Stuart, Briony, Charlotte and Tim are all running the London Marathon on 26th April 2009 in order to raise money for Dyslexia Action.  We aim to raise £12,000.  Please show your support by sponsoring us as much as you can afford.  All donations are gratefully received.

Marathon runners form:

Stuart Havis, Regional Manager - Metropolitan London
Stuart has enjoyed a relaxing recovery period following his last Marathon attempt back in...ahem...1985!  Stuart "The Harrier" Havis has excelled throughout training and enters the final weeks in good shape to not only complete the Marathon, but complete it in style in less than 4 hours!  His rivalry with Tim Watson is becoming legendary and we look forward to these 2 titans locking horns on the big day.

Briony Hughes, Divisional HR Manager - East
This is Briony's first attempt at a Marathon, but now she's overtaken another runner, the sky's the limit.  She continues to train to cheesy pop selections and this is helping her on these long runs.  She might not have won a place in Girls Aloud, but she can run a heck of a lot further than they ever could.  Briony aims to complete the marathon in less than 5 hours, although if Tim drags her along she may finish a little bit quicker!

Charlotte Miles, Inventory Management Assistant
This is Charlotte's first attempt at a Marathon but she is already a veteran of the Silverstone Half Marathon and she shows no signs of stopping now.  A resident of Nottingham, Charlotte "26.2!" Miles is training under the Yoda-like gaze of Paul Davis at the Hub: a man quite literally, of steel.  Let's hope some of this Kryptonian power helps propel Charlotte over the finish line in less than 5 hours!

Tim Watson, Divisional Manager - East
The only runner who knows for sure that he has what he takes: Tim is a veteran of the 2007 Marathon and looks set to beat his previous performance.  "Lightning" Tim Watson enjoys trash-talking his nemesis, "Harrier" Havis, and their duel on the streets of London looks set to be the main talking point of the day.  Who's got the pace?  Who's got the stamina?  All we know is, "Lightning" Watson has gazed into this abyss once before: and was not found to be wanting.  Less than 4.5 hours is the order of the day.
