About our charity : The Peace Hospice The Peace Hospice
The Peace Hospice brings peace, comfort and dignity to patients and families facing the crisis of cancer and other terminal illnesses. We focus on enabling patients to live their lives to the full and providing the best quality of life when a cure is not possible. Our care is holistic helping with emotional and spiritual issues as well as physical symptoms through our inpatient, day and outpatient care, hospice at home service and bereavement support. All our care is provided free of charge. We are reliant on voluntary income for 75% of our funding with only a quarter from the NHS, therefore donations from the community are vital to support the care we give.

Hello and thank you for visiting our fundraising page!  

We are delighted to inform you that 'The Watford Belles' and our very own Watford FC volunteer 'Marshalls'  also known as; Rob Clarke, Jim Cooke, Scott Field, Paddy Flavin and last but certainly not least....Kashan Malik have taken part in the Peace Hospice Starlight  Walk 08, which began at midnight on Saturday 14th June 08.  We are even more pleased to announce that the 13-mile course was completed - and done so very much as a team effort!

We are well on our way to achieving our target of £2,000 in order to raise much needed funds for The Peace Hospice - a very worthy cause. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us.

We had a fantastic night, however it wouldn't have been the success it was without the tremendous support we received, accordingly we would like to stress how grateful we are to everyone who has supported us, including; our family, friends, colleagues AND The Watford FC Supporters! We would like to send a big thank you to everyone from the bottom of our hearts.  Thank you all so much!
