Chance UK provides mentoring to children with behavioural difficulties. They work with 5-11 year olds who are at risk of developing anti-social or criminal offending behaviour. The programme works in Hackney and Islington, supporting some of the most deprived children in London. Further programmes are being developed across the UK.

My story

The Marketing Girls at PRP are running the Sony Ericsson Run to The Beat Half Marathon on Sunday 27th September 2009.

We are raising money for Chance UK who are a charity that provide one-to-one mentoring for children aged 5-11 with behavioural difficulties. Their mentors raise children's self esteem via activities such as games in the park, visiting museums or anything the child may be interested in.

Many of the children Chance work with are on the verge of being excluded from school. Their mentors help them with their specific behavioural difficulties to improve their self confidence, education and home lives.
