This was our 3rd attempt at this gruelling challenge to walk all 15 peaks in North Wales that are over 3000ft in height within 24hrs. Karen even travelled back from Australia as not to miss out.

Sadly we were again unsuccessfull. We had the stamina but not the speed and were unable to compleate the final leg as we arrived at checkpoint four after the cut off time.

Despite this we had a great day and came home with the message that actually the event is not about us but the money we raise leaving an indelible impression and  difference to someone elses life.

We are fundraising for a local Surrey based charity, EIKON that supports under-priviliged  teenagers without a core support structure to make pivotal decisions as they transition towards adulthood. EIKON exists to support and unlock the hidden potential  within these potentially disengaged  and damaged teenagers

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The eikon Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please keep sending in your sponsorship and help make a difference to someone elses life. Thanks
