Ok, yes I could have just done any Marathon but hey why not 5 and all for such a great cause!
It will take 24 hours and 14,000 miles just to get to the starting line!! Never mind completing the 5 Marathons ahead of me, but for those who will benefit their daily challenges are far tougher than mine.
Military charity Project 65 has created FORCES MARCH, an incredible annual ‘Super challenge’ a daunting 131 mile march from Ilfracombe to Bulford, Uk, to raise funds for the care and support of wounded armed forces personnel and bereaved families. The event is open to both able-bodied and disabled participants.
The march will be run over 5 days with four overnight stops along the route from Thursday 27th May to Monday 31st May . The course is particularly challenging with many hills and valleys along the way. Route Map here
