Everyman is an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). Every year some 10,000 men lose their lives to prostate cancer and over 2,000 others have their world turned upside down by a diagnosis of testicular cancer. These men are the reason we are fundraising for male specific cancers.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Widnes Vikings will take on Halifax in their National League One campaign live on SKY Sports on 18th March at 7.30pm. The Widnes team will take to the field in a charity kit for one night only and all profits from this special night will be donated to the 'Everyman' charity.

Everyman's mission is to stamp out testicular and prostate cancer. They can achieve this by making everyone recognise the tell-tale signs, and understand the importance of treating them. By increasing this awareness they also hope to raise money to fund their life-saving research.

This is a first for the Vikings and we are calling on all our supporters and fellow members of the Rugby League community to help raise as much money for the Everyman campaign as possible.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now and lets raise as much money as we possibly can for this extremely important charity.
