On Monday, I will be running the Dublin marathon. A marathon is 26.2 miles – that's equivalent to running more than twenty-eight 1500 metre races, in a row. It promises to be rather cold, and I've got a bad ankle.
Still, it's easy to forget that there are people who are considerably worse off than me. That's why I'm trying to raise some money for Hopes and Dreams, a charity that provides unique experiences, days out and holidays for critically ill children.
Please see below left or the Press section of their website, http://www.hopesdreams.org/press.htm, for details on the ways Hopes and Dreams tries to better the lives of seriously ill children.
Thanks for your support,
Will.
