Thanks for logging onto the fundraising page for Tom, Jamie, James B, James T, Ali, Ben, Nigel, Beki, Patrick, Paul & Max. A special thanks to Bristol Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals and Audi for their generous donations. Thanks to Jamie's New Years resolution to get fit and raise some money for William, we are running the Sheffield Half Marathon for the Children's Hospital. Tom's son, William was born in September and suffers from a condition known as Arthrogryposis which affects the joints of his hands and feet. William also has considerable developmental delay and has recently been diagnosed with West Syndrome which is a type of Epilepsy resulting from neurological impairment. As a result, William has spent a lot of time at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and he is very lucky to have this facility so close to home. Everyone at the hospital has been fantastic and William has received the very best care we could wish for. As a way of thanking the hospital and showing our support we would like to raise some money for the charity There are a number of projects which require our help including free patient entertainment systems for all 130 beds and additional money to support the Ryegate centre, which is a child development centre where William currently attends a sensory group. (see link for more details) www.sheffieldchildrens.nhs.uk/about/1-4-6.php Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
