In the UK: Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. 35,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. One man dies every hour of prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is the UK’s leading charity working with people affected by prostate cancer. We fund research, provide support and information, and we campaign to improve the lives of men with prostate cancer. We provide the only UK-wide prostate cancer Helpline staffed by prostate cancer specialist nurses. Our nurses offer free and confidential information and support to anyone affected by prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is working towards a world where lives are no longer limited by prostate cancer. The Charity is fighting prostate cancer on every front - through research, support, information and campaigning.

My personal message:

hello everyone thankyou for visiting my fundraising site, right i am not going to try and do any hard sell on you but if you could please sponser me for the london marathon in april that would be greatly appreciated,i am aiming to do it in under 3 hours 30 minutes, and have now given up booze and donuts (don't really eat donuts but hey you get the point) so that i can achieve this. right enough about what i am doing as i could talk about me all day hahahaha. Please help in my quest for helping others.

To start with heres a brief insite into the work of prostate cancer and how it effects you. Nearly 35,000 men in the UK are diagnosed with cancer each year, and 10,000 men die each year thats ONE EVERY HOUR.

If everyone could just give a few pounds towards this cause it would go a long way, as the chances are in your lifetime someone that you love and care about will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and think if i even raise half of the £500 that i am aiming for, this can help fund raising more awareness and help for more nurses to be available for treating prostate cancer.
