Please dig deep and sponsor me (with my high blood pressure and cholesterol laden body!) to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in August 2008 to raise vital monies for medical equipment for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice on the Isle of Wight in the UK.

Mount Kilimanjaro is 19,340 ft high and is the largest free standing mountain in the world. The oxygen levels at the summit are half as much as they are at sea level so if the thought of me gasping and calling for an oxygen bottle makes you giggle, please spare some cash for this worthwhile charity and make it all worthwhile!

The hospice needs 3.5 million pounds a year to continue providing its care for 800 Island people each year who have been given a life limiting diagnosis. The vast majority of the hospice's funding is received through charitable donations and relies on the generosity of people such as yourself.
