My story
Its the final countdown to the Rome Marathon on Sunday! Please sponsor me online to help break the intergenerational cycle of malnutrition, poverty and poor maternal health amongst women and children in India.
My chosen charity, CINI UK, needs as many donations it can muster if it is to continue its wonderful work helping some of the most disadvantaged pregnant women, mums-to-be, and children in Kolkata, India. CINI is about motherhood, its about children and most importantly it is about life. Your sponsorship will provide support to new mums to help them improve and protect their own health and that of their families. It will encourage women to give birth in registered hospitals and ensure new parents are visited by a qualified health worker after the birth, who will give advise about how to keep their babies healthy through a low cost nutritious diet.
