STOP PRESS - Due to major issues with this page throughout the competition this competition is suspended. All donators will be contacted. I have been exchanging emails with justgiving as the page has not been accepting donations for many people and on a lot of occasions not even launching. Please dont send further entries / donations. Apologies
In May of this year, the 100 Miles in a Day event in Halifax, West Yorkshire involved 124 runners and ended up raising in excess of £7500 for the Forget Me Not Trust alone (Check out www.100milesinaday.co.uk for details). Soon after that event we received a kind donation of a brand new Nintendo Wii console with a view to using it to generate even more funds for this worthwhile charity. So now, for a small donation of £2, submitted here, you can enter a competition to win this prize. Thanks to another kind donation, the winner will also win 4 additional games (Table Tennis, Cooking Mama, Brain Academy and World Championship Darts). The competition is in the form of a downloadable quiz involving the indentification of famous faces.
So how do you enter? The instructions are as follows;-
1) Go to the website www.redsmailevents.co.uk, re-read the full instructions and download the quiz sheet
2) Complete the quiz remembering that it will be electronically marked and so we are only looking for Surnames and they must be spelt correctly
3) Send completed entries to winawii2009@googlemail.com
4) Make you donation online here - minimum donation £2 and we aren't expecting people to pay more than that.
5) Importantly, when making the donation, ensure that you put the first part of your email address (the bit before the @) in the comments as this will allow us to check which submitted answer sheets we should mark. If we have multiple winners in the end, the prize will be awarded via a draw.
The competition will run to December 9th at midnight to allow us to make arrangements to get the prize to the winner before Xmas. Thanks for your continued support. Please please please tell your friends and family about this, as we want to get this out to as many people as possible regardless of location - its the beauty of an eQuiz. There is even a slot on the quiz sheet to provide a location so we can gauge the coverage with this quiz.
Many thanks
Mike Wilson
