My story
Since neither of us at our time of life need anything in the 'homeware' department (as opposed to just want , of course!) we thought we would support a 'good cause' as part of our wedding celebrations instead!
Sunshine is a project that we visited (together with Joel and Hope) when we went to Egypt over Christmas/New year to celebrate Kym's 40th birthday. We all spent an afternoon there playing with the children and learning more about the project and the work they do. They provide a home, care and a multi-lingual education for abandoned and street children in Central Luxor and are just about to move to much needed new premises. So, instead of asking you to provide stuff for our 'new' home , we thought we would invite you to provide it for theirs .
Please feel free to donate any sum you wish (however small), they will make good use of it in our opinion. Do take a look at their website www.sunshine-international.org.uk though, it's the sort of thing that helps put much of life in perspective.!
