Cumbria Community Foundation is an an independent charity providing a means by which people and organisations can make a difference to the most disadvantaged people in our community. 

With the support of our donors we have made grants totalling over £16m since inception in 1999.
 
The Winter Warmth Fund was launched in December 2010 to help the most vulnerable older people. It was started by a supporter who wished to donate their Winter Fuel Allowance, but anyone could give to the Fund.

Applicants can apply to the fund and there is no minimum or maximum award. Visit www.cumbriafoundation.org for further information.
