Wise-Shop.com Charity Feeds is raising money for Leaves of Hope
“Vito Saracino's Fundraising Page”

on 17 June 2009

Donations cannot currently be made to this page
It works with children in Belarus, preventing them from being abandoned and improving the environment in orphanages for those who have been abandoned. It also works with disaffected youth in Britain, involving them in the refurbishment projects and giving them a greater understanding of the world in relation to their own environment and needs. The 'Belarus Experience' empowers young people to believe in them selves and have pride in what they have achieved by helping those less fortunate than themselves.

  • In consultation with Ministries of Health, Education and Social Protection, provide training for teachers and social pedagogues, and other care workers in orphanages and in the community, in early years intervention and development programmes
  • Continue to develop substitute family care (fostering) for children who for whatever reason cannot be cared for by their natural parents through the provision of training and support programmes for carers and professionals;
  • Provide programmes of support for parents who are caring for children with special needs at home including setting up self help and mentoring groups ;
  • Involve volunteers of all ages to promote the work of the Charity in England and Wales, and in Belarus;
