Hi welcome to the sleep out page. On the 29th January 2011 Staff at the ypod and service users and friends of Woking Ymca will be taking part in the event, which entails us sleeping outside for a night, to raise awareness for young people who are homeless and suffer every night the cold, wet, hunger and loneliness. We are also raising money to support our own housing project, a safe warm place for young people who have no where to go at night, to come stay here and relax, and be safe. This is a very important event for us, as we work mostly with young people, bringing the percentage of young people who are homeless down would be our dream! This is our second year taking part in the event, and we will continue to support this cause and raise money to support our housing project which already has had many referrals and we are hoping to house more young people in need.
