Story
As a home care provider in Stamford we have the pleasure of supporting individuals in their own home every day whether this be with personal care, domestic needs, preparation and supporting with meals, medication or offering companionship and support with accessing the community.
We pride ourselves on our family values, we set our organisation up in April 2016 and are registered with the Care Quality Commission.
We support many vulnerable adults with conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's, diabetes and Alzheimer's. However a condition that is close to our hearts as a team is raising awareness for The Stroke Association.
In March 2017 a dear friend of 'wright Care at Homes - Care Manager - Samantha Wright' Babs Smith delivered a personal team talk on her experience of having a stroke and how she survived this. She is also a first responder in Oundle and supports people in emergency situations. This really inspired our team and bought home the condition.
To show our appreciation and support for 'Babs' and many others including our customer's we wanted to raise awareness and money for such a valuable charity. We felt by coming together as a team we could all work hard to train and run the 13.2 miles together. Not only will this help the charity but bring us as a team even closer than we already are.
We will be posting our training updates and we really hope you will support us and follow our journey!
