Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are a small group of 9 supporting WWF for a college project. WWF doesn't only save pandas as some may think. WWF safeguards the natural world.
What does that mean???
Simple. WWF helps preserve nature. This means stopping endangered species from becoming extinct. This means stopping deforestation. This means stopping ocean pollution. This means protecting wildlife.
Only that??? Only animals and trees???
Why no!?! WWF helps provide clean water for areas without clean water in third world countries.
Wait. WWF helps humans too???
Of course they do! We are apart of this beautiful world, aren't we?
Tell me more.
WWF is planning to reduce poverty in the long term by restoring degraded land, intergrate water resource management, create sustainable fisheries and sustainable forest management. They are also helping women in the third world communities.
How?
The Successful women's programme. This inlcudes small business development, access to health services such as family planning & maternal & child health, efficient & sustainable agriculture techniques and literacy programmes.
Okay, I'm convinced. When is your event?
24 January 2013.
What if i'm unable to make it? How can I make a donation to this great charity?
