On Saturday 26th September 2009 we will be setting off from Market Cross in Wymondham and cycling approximatly 377 mile to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance .
And here is why
In April 2001 I was seriously injured in a road traffic accident. There is little doubt that I was very lucky to survive that accident and I will be eternally grateful to the emergency services who laboured under very difficult conditions to achieve the best possible outcome.
Due to unforeseeable circumstances I was unable to be air lifted to The
Norfolk and Norwich Hospital but I have experienced first hand how important their service can be when saving somones life . It is because of my experience through the care and support of ambulance crew, fire fighters, doctors, nurses, family and friends that I and a group of friends have decided to take up the challenge to raise as much money as possible for this life saving organisation by cycling from Wymondham to Paris.
Please remember that out of all these fantastic services, Air Ambulance is the only one that does not have government funding .
I hope that you will give generously in supporting :-
Adam Hale-Sutton
Steve Barson
Steve Cuviello
Steve Dickinson
Jurgon Prell
and our support crew :
Helen Hale-Sutton and Samantha Barson
on our venture .
Thankyou in earnest
Adam Hale-Sutton
