About the charity : Send a Cow Send a Cow
Since 1988 Send a Cow has given cows and other livestock to hundreds of poor African farmers - mainly women, orphans and disabled people. The animals provide milk and incomes, and their manure increases crop yields, combating poverty and malnutrition. Send a Cow also provides training and low-cost veterinary services.

Welcome to the Yakatak Send a Cow donation page!

I present a crackpot scheme, an attempt to drive from North Wales to Mongolia in two clapped out VW Bugs.

In July 2006 we leave on a journey which should take us a quarter of the way around the globe.  Over 8000 miles, across five mountain ranges and two deserts, along roads which range from poor to non existent…

We are taking part in the Mongol Rally and will undertake this journey alone, with no backup team or help around the corner to bail us out.

Of the 42 cars that attempted this journey in 2005 only a 19 made it to the finish; all others died or fell apart along the way!

Sponsor us:

Help us to attempt this journey by supporting our team and our fantastic chosen charity by digging deep and giving generously.

We have decided to support Send a Cow as we believe that they are doing fantastic and much needed work.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Send a Cow will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please Sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
