We need your donations more than ever to help continue vital work to protect and enhance the environment, landscape and communities in the Yorkshire Dales.

In the last year we have:

  • Restored 113 hectares of endangered hay meadows. 1 hectare can support up to 150 species of wildlife.

  • Given 12 young people on-the-job training and opportunties to gain environmental qualifications, so they can stay in, and help care for, the Dales countryside.

  • Enabled 1245 people from disadvantaged groups to vists and enjoy activities in the Yorkshire Dales.

  • Helped to plant 124,000 native broadleaf trees in the area.
