Yellow Umbrella Day – Free Festival - Sunday 20 September 2009
Now in its seventh year, Yellow Umbrella Day is Chiswick’s largest annual charity event and ’s celebrated festival.
We are raising money f three children’s charities; The Children’s Cookery School – Helping disadvantaged kids to cook with fresh ingredients, The Log Cabin - an inclusive adventure playground and The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice – providing care f terminally ill children.
Highlights this year include live music from Blondie tribute band – So Blondie and 2 local bands, Madhen and The Hanging Baskets. There will be a BBQ and Bar, Cake Bake Contest, Street Perfmers, a fairground attractions, Pony Rides, Face Painting, Giant Games, Arts and Crafts zone and much more.
There is also a sponsored 5KM walk and a 10KM run that start and finish at , along with a 10meter Woddle for the toddlers.
We are also holding a Grand Prize Draw with the chance to win amazing prizes including a Disney Litho Graph, a private screening f you and 53 of your friends in ’s exclusive Cinema, a Meal f two at the Union Chiswick and many me prizes.
