During my dad's long battle with cancer, the Marie Curie staff at Huntershill hospice, Glasgow were outstanding. They did more to relieve my dad's suffering in a just a few hours than a variety of other hospitals managed over a number of weeks, perhaps that is why my dad called the Marie Curie nurses his 'angels'. I will be eternally grateful to all the Marie Curie staff for their dedication and support during some truly dreadful times. Please help me raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care so that other families can benefit from this unique service.

Due to circumstances outwith my control (i.e. original event being cancelled!) I will now be taking part in a 'zip slide' on September 4th 2005. This involves zipping across the river Tweed suspended 40m above the ground on a wire!
