CHASE Hospice Care for Children

CHASE hospice care for children provides nursing, practical and emotional support to families with children and teenagers who are not expected to live to reach their 19th birthday. The CHASE service is provided 365 days of the year throughout South West London, Surrey and Sussex at no cost to the families themselves.

My story

Esther's message...

I did it! We finnished it in 2 hours and 45 mins. I must admit my legs do hurt and i have two blisters, but it was all worth it. I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who sponsored us!! To get over £1000 is amazing, double what we first aimed to raise. The photo is of us at 10 miles. Don't you think Zoe looks good as Mr Incredable!!

The reason for choosing Chase as our charity, is because my cousin Thomas Blumire, who has Muscular Dystrophy, attends Christophers hospice. He is our inspiration! www.chasecare.org.uk

Zoe's message...

I think Esther has done really well - to just start running this year and now be planning to run 13 miles is pretty good.

Although I have ran the Bristol Half before, I have to admit I have never done it for charity. So this year my aim is to raise as much as possible for Chase. As well as your donations through this site, I plan to run with a collection tin and in fancy dress (any ideas for the fancy dress outfit welcome).
