The Zombie Egg Heads are the team from Sigma Research (University of Portsmouth). We're raising money for three of our favourite causes: public green spaces in London, cute animals and gay men's health.
Dressed as number-crunching data nerds of the lviing dead, we will take part in the third annual Royal Vauxhall Tavern Gay Sports Day on Monday 31st August 2009, hoping not to loose too many body parts as we attempt the 100 mince, throwing the handbag and the spacehooper dash.
The money will go to Friends of Spring Gardens (the public green space behind the RVT where the famous C18 Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens were located), the Vauxhall City Farm (a community project bringing people in closer touch with animals in the inner city) and GMFA, the charity working towards gay men's greater control over their health.
