We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Every year for our Shorinji Kempo martial arts we have a "kaiso [founder] day".

This is to "give something back" to the community, and usually involves some sort of fundraising event.

Last year we took part in 2x 5kilometer runs, with all proceeds going to charity (in this case whizzkids, a charity for disabled children). We raised over £1,600........

Details of that are here: http://www.shorinjikempo.or.jp/wsko/b-report/244.html

This year we thought we would try and top that, so we will be abseiling from the roof of Twickenham stadium......

It will all take place on 29th March @ 3:30pm.

There will be 11 of us from the branch taking part.

All our efforts this year will be to raise funds for the stroke association www.stroke.org.uk

If you can help us then all you have to do is enter credit/debit card details and the amount you can give. Any amount will help no matter how small.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Stroke Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

Thanks in advance.

Keep well,

Sensei Steve Williams and all of us from the Harrow Shibu (Branch)
