Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our TeamPilot-IMS just giving page. Although this page has been set up by Riz Khan (he is the most active JG user amongst the team) it is actually for the whole Pilot IMS Ltd team to share amongst their family and friends and wider networks to help Pilot IMS Training raise £500 for Black Country Food Bank.

The Pilot IMS Training staff members who are involved in this 1000km running/walking challenge for this fantastic charity are as follows -

WHICH PILOT STAFF ARE INVOLVED? - Spencer, Lisa & Jack Shuter, Andy Pettigrew, Aesha Ali, Hester Holland, Darren and Lucy Carpenter, Jayne Barnard, Joshua Rowley, Bradley Pogson, Javed Iqbal and Rizwan Khan.

AIM - As a collective team, the above members have committed to walkin and/or running 1000km (622 miles) from 1st March 2021 to 29th March 2021 (4 week period) and raise at least £500.00 for the Black Country Food Bank through this challenge (BCFB).

WHY - The BCFB are a fantastic charity that work tirelessly across the Black Country Region (24 hubs) and provide a lifeline for many individuals and families by providing emergency 3 day food supplies for many in the region. We felt given the recent Covid19 pandemic and the fact many parents are having to home school their children and also the huge concerns of food poverty in the Black Country Region this was a perfect charity to support at a perfect time. The national lockdown maybe lifting soon but food poverty is something which was sadly increasing pre covid and this pandemic has only made the situation worse. With many isolating at home and the cost of supporting their families increasing massively throughout this pandemic and lockdowns - food banks have become inundated with requests. As such we felt we would like to make a difference and support a local charity which is actively doing great work to ensure people are able to provide some of sort of food and meals for themselves or their families, BCFB absolutely fitted this criteria.

IMPACT - your generous donation today will allow for BCFB bank to manage their increasing running costs and also purchase food items for their service users. BCFB rely heavily on their kind hearted volunteers and generous donations from the public to ensure they can keep on delivering their in demand service your donation will really help make a huge difference in this respect. No amount is too small.

Thank you very much in advance from every member of the Pilot IMS Training team, we are grateful for your support for this brilliant charity and our team challenge.

Please follow us on our social media, where we will be sharing our updates around this challenge and we will of course be sharing updates on this page too.
