***THE DONATIONS ARE GOING TO HAEMATOLOGY CANCER CARE (T13), NOT TO NIKKI ♥ ***
Last year, our Nikita was diagnosed with a rare kind of lymphoma called TLL, just a month before her graduation. She has been in the hospital since June 2015. In August 2015 she suffered a very rare (never happened before) reaction to one of the chemo, which led to an injury to her brain. Since then she has been in the hospital fighting and Haematology Cancer Care (T13) has been always really close to her.
So we've decided to do a little something to help Nikita help back, and making a wish in the between.
In Japan, they say that if you fold 1000 cranes origami, then you are granted a wish.
And we all have one wish: to see Nikki get better.
So, we've decided to fold 1000 cranes origami and hang all of them in Nikki’s hospital room.
The origami are ready, but now we need 1000 people to make 1000 donations to the Haematology Cancer Care (T13), a UCLH charity that has been very close to Nikki this year.
So now, please donate whatever you can, and remember to write your name once you make it. Do not make anonymous donations, it's really important for us to collect 1000 names, which will be then written on a huge sheet of paper that will be folded into a giant origami that will always be with our Nikki.
And one last thing, share this fundraising page with your friends, and, together, let’s help Nikki help Haematology Cancer Care (T13).
Lots of love,
Manju (Nikki's mom) and friends & family.
