Story

Thank you for visiting our page.

In 2020 Ciorstaidh developed Persistent Gestational Trophoblastic
Disease following a molar pregnancy and, at the height of the Covid pandemic, had to travel to London to start 4 months of successful  treatment at Charing Cross Hospital. Although rare, 1 in around 600 pregnancies can be affected.

In gratitude, we are planting 1000 trees on our croft in the Outer Hebrides to help raise money for The Cancer Treatment and Research Trust at Charing Cross Hospital. If you would like to help, please sponsor a tree. We hope to raise as much as we can to help this deserving charity continue their research and provide support during and after treatment.

Thank you
