Living in Brighton I could not resist the 2014 100 mile South Downs Way bike challenge as the perfect way to start raising money for the British Heart Foundation.

My fundraising goal is £1000, but just as important as the money raised I also hope this event (and me doing it) will raise awareness of the importance in maintaining an active healthy lifestyle.

The BHF do such a great job in combating the results of Heart Disease but their work in spreading the need to live healthy livestyles before health problems arise is crucial.
