Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm 68 and wanted to set myself a challenge to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal and came up with the 1914 Tri-Athlon.

Why? - WW1 started in Europe on 28th July 1914. The Tri-Athlon commemorates these dates with a pool swim of 1914 mtrs a Cycle Ride of 28K and a Run of 7K (My aim is to do the swim & run in less than 40mins each)

As it's 100 years since the start of WW1 it would be fantastic to get 100 people doing it on this date.
