Headway Salisbury and South Wiltshire hopes to ensure that when a person’s life is turned upside down by brain injury, they get the help and support they need and deserve and are able to live as independent a life as possible. 

They aim to promote understanding and awareness of all aspects of brain injury; and to provide information, support and services to people with a brain injury, their family and friends, as well as assistance in accessing and signposting other services.

Headway Salisbury and South Wiltshire has been a branch of Headway since 2004 and became a charity in its own right with an affiliation to Headway in 2010 (Charity No. 1137281, Company No. 7295941).  Therefore they are reliant on raising their own funds to offer those services.

Hannah Carr, Head of the Personal Injury and Medical Negligence Department at Goughs Solicitors, became a Trustee for Headway Salisbury and South Wiltshire in 2014.   She and her team have experienced first hand how invaluable their support and services are.  This has inspired them to use the next year to raise as much money as possible for Headway through a variety of different activities and events.
