We reward excellence in chemistry education to encourage tomorrow's chemists today

Story

On the 23rd June, Alex Vaughan-Fowler, Peter Vaughan-Fowler, Tom De Ritter, Matthew Arrowsmith and I we will be rowing 20 miles from Richmond to Sunbury and back again to support the Salters' Institute Centenary Appeal. This may not sound like a huge distance but we will be rowing in a traditional watermans cutter making the 32186.9 metres just a little bit harder! Please give as much or as little as you would like. £1 a mile would be nice!

Please take the time to check out the cause:

The Salters' Institute (https:/www.saltersinstitute.co.uk) does great work to promote science appreciation and education in schools and universities. 2018 is the centenary of it's founding, and to mark this the Institute is aiming to expand it's activities. These include funding more chemistry festivals for 11-13 year olds, which are held on university campuses and will help to inspire our scientists of the future. Also developing more on-line materials for teachers, and support networks for school science technicians.
