Story

Our local gym VIP Fitness in Alcester is holding a 24 hour charity rowing challenge to raise both money and awareness for the Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group (MDSG).

Myotonic Dystrophy is a condition that one of our members suffers from. The disease affects the muscles and other body systems and is characterised by progressive muscle loss and weakness.

The MDSG is a charity that relies wholly on donations. They are at the forefront of research into the condition and provide invaluable support and information for patients, relatives and friends.
