Story

Anita Harries, Mayoress of Dorchester, will be spending 24 hours dressed as a SNOWMAN on Friday 13th January 2017 in Aid of Home-Start West Dorset's Snowflake Appeal.

The aim is to get at least 200 people to donate £1

If you prefer to donate in person there is a also a collection pot at Buttermarket Stores in Poundbury and the Town Council Office in North Square, Dorchester.

About the charity

We are a local charity giving friendship, advice and practical support to families in the West Dorset, Weymouth and Portland. Our volunteers work with parents to increase confidence and independence within families and help parents discover, or rediscover, the joy and fun of parenting.
