Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Brandon Foster (Fozy) a serving soldier of both 29 Commando RA and 7 Para RHA.

In 1997 my family lost a key member , my older brother Thomas who was born with Tay-Sachs disease.

Since April 2019 I have made it my mission through social media with my page “Fozy’s fight against TaySachs” to raise awareness and funds to help find a cure for Tay-Sachs disease which is a rare generic condition that mainly effects babies and young children, it stops the nerves working properly and is always fatal with still no cure.

August 2020 I will be conducting the "3-2-6 Challenge" over a 14 day period , 3-2-6 representing the distance in miles from Colchester , home of 16 Air Assault Brigade to The Royal Citadel , Plymouth 29 Commando

The 326 Challenge consists of :

3.26 mile swim

32.6 mile cycle

326 mile run (broken down into 13 consecutive full marathons 1 per day over 13 days)

In doing this challenge I aim to raise as much money as I can for The Cure and Action for Tay-Sachs foundation who are the only UK charity dedicated to helping familes effected by Tay-Sachs.

Thank you for taking the time to read my page.

Best wishes,

Brandon
