Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust supports teenagers and young adults with cancer through targeted research and support projects to help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.

On the 22nd June 2019 we are attempting the gruelling and challenging task of scaling the National 3 Peaks within the space of 24 hours.  For those of you not in the know, this means hiking up the 3 biggest peaks in the UK, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon all in one go, inclusive of travel time.  The travel time alone is circa 11 hours which will give us approximately 13 hours to complete the hikes!

We are a team of 6 which consists of:

Thomas Gosney, Greg Kelly, Mark Hopkinson, Scott Fulton, Jim Templey and most importantly our driver (and my dad) Paul Gosney.

In order to prepare for the challenge we are also going to do a set of "mini" walks/treks which will consist of doing all 3 mountains on separate occasions beforehand.  Plus the small matter (26 miles) of tackling the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on 1st June 2019 as a warm up!

Any donations, big or small, could make a massive difference to someones life in the future!
